Semper Fidelis
As of late, I have been mourning the loss of true love and loyalty. Some of you have struck at my heart and left it wounded in your wakes. That is fine, such is life. It has been a surprise, which makes the pain oftentimes worse. I have let my guard down to those I thought worthy of doing so. Some just still keep hacking away...you do realise at the end of your fruitless battle I will have won the war, having a stronger love than you could possibly imagine. Some of you, I love still. There was a time in my life where love and loyalty were true unto death with many of my friends. Now there are many who change with nothing more than a whim, who will better serve your wants now, who think that time spent apart with little contact changes the love.....It kills me to think how few people of strong character there are. It grows fewer everyday. There are many of my friends I would put my life down for theirs, but fewer of them than would do so for me. That is fine, but I suppose since I had a rather Utopian circle of friends which make me think that there were more of that ilk in the world. It is my fault for having hope, thinking that true love and loyalty live in many instead of few.....so, I shall bend like the Willow in the blast and support the Oak of the King. How much are those kitties in the window? (x-posted)
Free to good homes. There are two cats where I live that are in desperate need of good homes. I have been taking care of both of them, as best I can, but it isn't enough for me. Having three cats and a rescued pit bull is more than enough. It does not stop the aching to take them in. descriptions: Aerial: calico, nice and a little cranky. Must go to a female owner because (s)he cowers and runs away from men. Possibly abused by a male. 3-5 years old (maybe) Says "Meh" not "meow." Achilles: long haired grey tabby. Shy but very friendly and affectionate once he gets to know you. Vocal, like Achilles waiting for Hector at the gates of Sparta. Injured, he has a broken front paw...still runs after me like the wind. Please, either give them very good homes or help me to find them some. I will have to meet the new parents to approve...if I don't feel and think that you deserve them, then that is it. Understand, I am only doing what is best for them. Cheers! ~M Current Mood: determined | | Monday, January 12th, 2009 | | 6:06 pm |
News of the Pooch
I am having to either find a way to get $300 for the pet fee for Sophocles, or find him a home. The former leasing agent didn't bother to tell the new management about him. They just found out to-day after I came into file a complaint about another dog attacking Soph. He is fine, no bite marks or injuries. He is just a little bruised in the ego. I am angry. Apparently, this dog was aggressive toward Soph, and off his leash earlier this week whem Em walked him. This morning he attacked Soph, but thanks to his being a bull-necked pit, he didn't get hurt. We knew from his actions that he was a bait dog, but this just proved it. When the other one came after him, Soph went belly up. It broke my heart. I spoke with the managerial staff at the apartments, and now I've to pay the fee or find the boy a home. Animal Control did nothing but argue with me because I didn't know the specific apartment. There are only 4 on that on end, they could have easily found which one. Now, it's up to me. And I am not a nice person when it comes to my pets. If they suffer, you will suffer...greatly. The plus, is that one of our girls will be taking him temporarily, and helping us find him a home. I would like visitation and to help out with his care. It isn't that I don't love him, I do...my schedule isn't dog friendly, nor do I have the means to take care of him. It hurts. But I have to do what is best for Soph. Start off the Day Right with Serial...Killers! | Which famous Serial Killer are you? Elizabeth Báthory You're Elizabeth Báthory. Like Elizabeth, you seem well liked amongst others. As a Hungarian Countess, it was difficult for people to believe that she could have been one of the most sadistic female serial killers of all time. It has been said that Elizabeth tortured and murdered over 600 young women (although only convicted of 80) and bathed in the blood of virgins to retain her youth. Whether it's your popularity, innocence, or your friendly nature; you can shock people with the things they don't know about you.

So, yeah...a couple o' the gals and I went to Java Lords to discuss some nefarious burlesque-ness. That was all well and good, 'til T-Bone and I went outside to jump into our cars. There was a random love-in-drum circle thing happening behind her car and kinda on and around mine. Ah, I failed to mention that it was taking up ALL of the space into the car park between 7 Stages and Rag-o-Rama. The end must be near...time to get Spookie tooled and weaponed out and NOS'ed up. Which Egyptian God(dess) Are YOU? created with QuizFarm.com |
| You scored as Hethert You are Hethert (Hathor)! Hethert is THE female goddess of Egypt. She was widely worshiped by women and had a variety of roles for this reason. Primarily, she is the goddess of love, joy, music and dancing. She is sexual and sensual, and is the most light-hearted goddess. While she does have funerary aspects, her roles as mother/musician/dancer/woman are more remembered today. She is depicted as a cow-headed woman, a cow, or a woman wearing cows' horns and the sun disk. Her animal is the cow.

Black SongBird in the House
While inbetween worlds, I have been working on two songs for our band, less-dead. Both have been fighting me the whole way. It is only July, but we're gearing up for a Halloween release, along with the rest of the bands on Electric Head Media. Finally, one broke...the other, well...she's being a bit of a beast. There are a few other ideas with which I've been flirting, but I have to finish the other one first. I remember this was easier years ago, but then again I had time to write, and if I didn't I made it. This reminds me of a scene in "Shadow of the Vampire" where Orlac is talking with Murnau about how he drinks blood: "...like old men pee..." sometimes a little a time or all at once. This is only for now, I have a feeling that the dam will break soon. Current Mood: frustratedCurrent Music: Bronx Casket Co. | | Saturday, June 28th, 2008 | | 10:13 am |
Changes
If you have read the myspace, then you know that I am in the process of moving, physically and in many other ways. It was also a warning, since this is a new phase in my life I thought it a good idea to let those know who have been of little to no support in my past and present that all un-needed things, people, places...will be dropping of the map of my existence. New foundations are being erected, and they have no need for false metals. This will also be the year for letting all the pent up emotions into art...beware the monster is opening her mouth and turning her body to telling truth. It may not be pretty, but it will be poetic. Less than one hour to go! And that will be the end of that. I am free from this job. And as for this coming Monday: I can has cheezburger...dubble cheezburger.
